About Us

   Hello and welcome to our Web based Ministry. Pillar of Truth Ministries, is a God based, non denominational ministry, founded to "Carry The Glorious Gospel," by teaching strictly the Word of God, without interjecting mans intrepretations, or thoughts. With the modern technology of the Internet, God has given Pillar of Truth Ministries the given vision to "Go ye therefore and teach all nations..." as ordained in matthew 28:19. We all are to "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." according to second Timothy 2:15 and PTM strives to be a willing vessel that God can use to teach others His Word.    Pillar of Truth Ministries was started in 1998, out of a vision to show God's love to a hurt and hurting world. The vision God gave us was to teach His undividing Word to the world, through the Internet and anyway possible, without inserting man's teachings, but only teaching the Word of God, in a way that each person, can allow the Holy SPirit to being it alive inside of them, and be taught of God. Our vision is based on Matthew 28:19 where God commands us ALL to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..." We are to make disciples out of all who will be taught the Word of God. In continuing this vision, God wanted us to provide for those in need, with His Love and mercy, and show those in need that HE is the provider of all things.

    Pillar of Truth Bible Institute became accredited in 2003, after 4 years of providing free Bible studies, to provide an Associate Degree program, which we offered free of charge to allow people who could not afford a formal education, to receive the taught Word of God and further their education. Then in 2004 we were granted an accreditation to offer the Bachelor's degree program, which we now offer, in addition to the Free Bible Studies, which we also offer free of charge, allowing students the true opportunity to gain a formal education, without cost to them.

     PTM, being an independent Free Church, also is granted the right to offer Ordination, and Licensure, to qualified, called of God individuals, in addition to charters for duly organized, and ordained of God ministries, stepping out into the field to work for the harvest of God. PTM is NOT a "paper mill" as other Internet based ordination and licensure organizations do. Under no circumstances do we ordain or charter just anyone. There is an application process to follow, and procedures, reports and etc to maintain once credentialed. The Word of God says that God does the calling and setting into place of those God chooses to be ministers of His Word, and our vision is to provide the necessary paperwork and licensure for those persons. We are not a "Get Ordained Online Ministry," nor are we a place that will just ordain, license or charter just anyone. PTM has an Ordination review board that carefully prays over and reviews each applicant before approval.

    God has and continues to provide so much for us. Our desire is to please Him in all we do. We love God with all that is within us, and our goal in life is to serve Him. For the past 5 years there have been so many times God has provided when there was no other way, in Pastor Kelvin and Sister Kristal's life, as well as the ministry in general. It is so awesome to see God provide, when there is no other way, and you have to accept that it is GOD.

    Currently we have an evangelistic ministry, both on the net, and evangelizing God's Word wherever He opens the door, Promoting God and ministering His Word is our number one priority and letting everyone know that God is STILL in control and reigning on high, alive in our life. Our ministry currently holds crusades and concerts, Our events  are in various locations, from churches, concert halls, and campgrounds, promoting god,a nd bringing the Word of God to the people, in song and in Word.

   It doesn't matter whether you wear the fanciest of clothes, the finest of suits, and have money to purchase anything you want. It doesn't matter if you only have one set of clothes, and can't afford to purchase dinner tonite, or if you don't know where your next meal is coming form. If you're in a nursing home, hospital, or your home, God is the same for everyone, he will do for you, what He has done for us, He can heal you, set you free, deliver you, provide for you, and bring you from ANY situation you may be in, and set you into a place where he can use you, and that you can be a testimony for Him. All you need to do, is accept Him, recognize Him, and take the first step. God brings YOU through situations, so that you may be able to help others through the same things, later.

  Pastor/Evangelist. Nelson is a graduate of Tree of Life Seminary with a BA in Christian Studies, And has an Associate degree in Christian Counseling from JSBC. He served on The Hunger and Homeless task force for Columbiana Co. Ohio for 3 years, And served as director of The Lighthouse Coffee House for 2 yr.. Rev. Nelson has 7 years Pastoral experience and 10 years in evangelism. He has experience in the music industry, promoting artists, promoting events, and in radio, as well as 12 years experience in humanitarian work, operating food and clothing pantries, disaster relief, working in emergency services, as fire department chaplain, hospital and nursing home chaplain, as well as emergency relief for those in need. Pastor Nelson has also worked with Christian artists promoting their music, booking events, and promoting venues accross the US, and in Gospel Radio.

  This ministry belongs to God, it is entirely HIS ministry, and we are only obedient servants to the master, willing to do, and go where HE opens the doors, and where He directs. We strive to be your Online church, and our goal is to provide a place for those that feel left out, uncomfortable, not able to get out, and feel like they have no place to go, offering Christ as a solution to their problems, and a friend to those that need one, and a helping hand to those in need, with someone they can turn to. Offering a place for anyone to turn, no matter where you are form, no matter your background, race, religion, color, or belief, that We can be YOUR Online church. Nothing that PTM is affiliated with, involves a charge. We offer everything from our Internet Radio station,  to The Degree program, to Christian Counseling, Bibles and fellowship,  totally free of charge, the price was already paid, At Calvary. We give God all glory, honor and praise for everything HE has accomplished through PTM!
